Taste Media operates a full-service creative and experiential agency, manages the social media channels TasteToronto and TasteMontreal, and runs TasteToronto.com, a leading online food and drink publication. We specialize in turning ideas into impactful campaigns and experiences that resonate deeply and forge unforgettable connections between brands and their audiences, leaving a lasting impact. Taste Media was founded in Toronto, Ontario in 2015.
What you'll be doing:
As a key player in our event team, you'll be:
■ Working closely with the Taste Media team for the setup, management, and breakdown of vendor stations at our summer festivals.
■ Ensuring vendors are well-equipped and supported, providing utensils, trays, napkins, and conducting regular check-ins to maintain smooth operations.
■ Acting as the vital link between our vendors and the Taste Media team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
■ Collaborating with the event coordinator to allocate vendor essentials such as tents, tables, equipment, menus, passes, and ticket boxes.
■ Supervising the vendor walk-in fridges and back-of-house (BOH) areas, ensuring they are operational and well-maintained.
What We're Looking For:
■ A true team player with a can-do attitude, ready to dive into any task.
■ Resilience and readiness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings.
■ Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, comfortable representing Taste Media at public events.
■ Previous event experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
■ Capable and comfortable with regularly lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds (This role requires handling a variety of infrastructure and equipment necessary for setting up and breaking down our dynamic event spaces)
